..IT'S THE TASTE OF YARRA VALLEY'S VERY INTERESTING REDS...

They come from Yarrawood in the heart of the Yarra Valley region and they are made by a family concern, in a very French style.

Oak serves fruit from a respectful distance. We have a Merlot, wondrous in plums and cherries and such a length of finish.

It is highly recommended, especially with crumbly cheddar, duck, and white meat dishes.

The Pinot Noir is a lovely glassful of cherry and vegetal aromas and tastes.

The Shiraz has spice and white pepper in deep purple robe. So right with steak béarnaise.

The 2005 Cabernet Merlot arrested our attention as we were reviewing some samples from Bordeaux and we bought it instead, weight, depth of flavour, mouth feel and several days’ freshness in bottle astounded us. A Yarra red of distinction.
